Petaluma's Dilithium raises $1.5 million

Petaluma's Dilithium Networks, which helps telecommunications providers deliver mobile video services, has raised $1.5 million of a $4 million venture offering, according to a filing with securities regulators.

Dilithium provides hardware, software and services for mobile video applications. It has about 120 network customers with 1.5 billion subscribers in 60 countries.

Dilithium is backed by venture funds including CM Capital, Accede Capital, Galleon Group, Jafco Investment, Motorola Ventures and U.S. Venture Partners.

Last year, Dilithium raised $10.9 million from investors.

In addition to its headquarters in Petaluma, Dilithium has development and design centers in India and Singapore.

In February, Dilithium launched Galaxy, a technology platform designed to make it faster and easier for service providers to offer mobile video.
