Santa Rosa native Bollinger named chair of N.Y. Fed Board

Columbia University president and Santa Rosa native Lee C. Bollinger has been named chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's Board of Directors for 2011, the bank said Monday.

PD FILE, 2005Bollinger, who grew up in Santa Rosa, has been on the New York Fed board since 2007. He had been deputy chairman. He replaces New York State AFL-CIO labor union leader Denis Hughes.
