Teen stabbed 15 times in Santa Rosa gang assault

<p>Detectives are still searching for a group of teen-agers who Wednesday night chased down a 16-year-old boy and near downtown Santa Rosa, police officials said.</p><p>The group of gang members chased the boy on several streets in the St. Rose Historic District, Sgt. Steve Fraga said.</p><p>Police were called to the 900 block of Washington Street just before 8 p.m. and found the youth, who had at least 15 stab wounds made from a small knife, Fraga said.</p><p>The teen-ager was transported to the hospital with wounds that didn't appear to be life threatening, Fraga said.</p><p>The attackers fled before officers arrived.</p><p>Anyone with information about the stabbing can call the Gang Crime Team at 543-3670.</p>
