Boy, 16, chased down, stabbed in Santa Rosa

A 16-year-old boy was chased down and stabbed multiple times Wednesday evening in Santa Rosa's St. Rose Historic District, an incident that police said appears to be gang-related.
Santa Rosa police received a call reporting a stabbing in the 900 block of Washington Avenue around 7:55 p.m. Responding officers found the teenager with multiple wounds, none of them life-threatening. He was transported to an undisclosed hospital.
Police said multiple attackers chased the victim for several blocks before stabbing him. They fled before officers arrived.
