Authorities have arrested three outstanding suspects in the stabbing of a 17-year-old Santa Rosa resident — two of them as they tried to leave the country near San Ysidro and the other nearby, Santa Rosa police said.

Border patrol officials caught two of the suspects Monday as they attempted to cross the border, police said.

Jesus Camacho Nunez and Miguel Angel Galvan-Morfin, 21, were extradited to Sonoma County and are being held without bail at the Sonoma County Jail on attempted murder charges and gang enhancements.

A third suspect, a 17-year-old, was arrested Wednesday by border patrol officers. He is being held in the San Diego County Juvenile Detention Facility, awaiting extradition on the same charges, police said.

His name has not been released because he is a minor.

A fourth suspect, Lorenzo Medina, 27, was arrested a week ago, the day after detectives believe the foursome chased down a rival gang member west of downtown Santa Rosa and stabbed him more than 15 times.

The victim, whose name has not been released, survived the July 21 attack.

Investigators are seeking witnesses and anyone else who knows anything about the attack. Those with information are asked to call Detective Jon Cregan with the police department’s Gang Crimes Team at (707) 543-3670.
