Santa Rosa police to crack down on red-light runners

Santa Rosa police will be on the lookout for drivers running red lights and other traffic violations starting Monday on Mendocino Avenue at Pacific Avenue.

The special enforcement effort will run through Sept. 12, Officer Jeff Adams said Saturday.

Officers will be focusing on seat belt, cell phone and lane marking violations, as well as speeding and stoplight violations, he said.
