The Sebastopol Police Department has received a $29,000 federal grant for a drunken-driving enforcement program.
It will pay for officers' training and overtime to staff DUI checkpoints, purchase of handheld alcohol-screening machines and running DUI probation checks.
The grant is from the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration through the state Office of Traffic Safety.
