Tom Birdsall has been named a regional partner of Basin Street Properties.

Birdsall, formerly president of Sonoma Mountain Group, will be responsible for all of the company’s operations and projects in Northern California while continuing to manage Basin Street Hospitality in California and Nevada.

“Tom has more than 25 years of experience in the consulting, hospitality and nonprofit fields, as well as a number of years under his belt consulting for Basin Street,” said Matt White, president of Basin Street. “His deep knowledge of our company combined with his extensive background in the Northern California real estate market brings a strategic component to our long range growth plans and further solidifies our continued commitment to the North Bay and Sacramento regions.”

In his new position, Birdsall’s responsibilities include the oversight of operations, leasing, marketing, construction, property acquisition, repositioning and disposition strategies, and the overall growth of the company’s Northern California presence.

Prior to joining Basin Street in a full-time capacity, Birdsall spearheaded the efforts of Basin Street Hospitality, which he founded with White in 2007.
