The western approach to the bridge suffered some erosion damage due to winter storms and heavy river flows this year.

Planned repair work is slated to start later this summer or in early fall. The meeting is designed to provide the community an update on those plans, which are being overseen by Caltrans and the Army Corps of Engineers.

“The Geyserville Bridge is a critical transportation link for the region and we want to make sure residents are fully informed about the status of the project,” McGuire said in a written statement.

The meeting is from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Geyserville High School, 1300 Moody Lane.
