A Santa Rosa woman was jailed after a CHP officer ticketed her for driving without a license plate — her third ticket in 24 hours.

Aubrey Renee Martin, 33, has racked up at least 10 separate traffic violations in 18 months. She also faces sanctions for failing to appear for court hearings five times, said CHP Officer Jon Sloat.

Martin's ticket history started in 2010 with a citation for driving without registration and no insurance, Sloat said. She reportedly didn't take care of the ticket in court, continued to drive and the tickets multiplied.

Officer Kim Lemons stopped Martin at about 9:30 p.m. Monday on Highway 12 at Highway 101. Martin told the officer she didn't have identification, had a suspended license and that she'd gotten a traffic ticket Sunday night. While searching for identification in the car, the officer found two more traffic citations, including one Martin got earlier Monday.

Both tickets were for driving with a suspended license and no insurance, Sloat said.
