Lake County deputies use K-9 to catch fleeing parolee

<p>A Lake County man was arrested for evading arrest Monday after leading a Lake County Sheriff's Deputy on a chase through a residential neighborhood, according to the Sheriff's Department.</p><p>A Lake County Sheriff's deputy patrolling the Clearlake Oaks area attempted to stop a vehicle driven by Jimmy Dale Scarborough of Clearlake Monday. Scarborough refused to stop, leading the deputy on a chase through a residential neighborhood with speeds topping 40 MPH, according to the Sheriff's Department.</p><p>Scarborough eventually stopped and exited his vehicle but refused to get on the ground, so the deputy's K-9 was deployed and brought Scarborough to the ground after he again tried to flee the scene.</p><p>Scarborough, who was on parole for manufacturing narcotics, was arrested and booked into Hill Road Correctional Facility on charges of felony evasion of a peace officer, resisting arrest and felony violation of parole.</p>
