Michelle Covington has been named development officer at Sonoma State University. Previously, she spent 12 years in college recruiting and human resources at Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies.

Mark V. Knight is returning to full-time consulting at Knight Consulting Group in Santa Rosa, which he founded in 1998. Previously, he served as interim vice president of strategic services at St. Joseph Health System.
Mark Pardini, owner of Pardini Appliance in Ukiah, has been re-elected to a three-year term as national officer of BrandSource. The member-owned merchandising group operates stores that sell appliances, electronics, flooring and home furnishings.
REACH Air Medical Services has promoted two employees.
Omid Eslamipour has been named director of maintenance for the Santa Rosa company, which provides air medical transport services. Previously, he served as director of quality assurance.
Dale Pike has been named chief pilot. He joined the company as aviation training manager.
Diana Brennan has been promoted to director of media and community relations at Infineon Raceway. She joined the Sonoma raceway in 1999 as an intern and has served as senior manager of media and community relations since 2006.
Palm Drive Hospital has a new executive team as a result of its affiliation in December with Marin General Hospital.
Charles Guenther, former chief executive officer at Eastern Plumas Health Care, has been named interim CEO. Richard Reid, vice president of finance at Marin General, will serve as Palm Drive's chief financial officer. Reid also serves as CFO for Sonoma Valley Hospital, which is also affiliated with Marin General.
Troy Aldrich has acquired and modernized Marquis Auto Body, a Santa Rosa automobile repair shop open for more than 40 years. Previously, Aldrich managed the auto shop, located at 950 Petaluma Hill Road.
Petaluma residents Jay and Janet Silverberg have opened Silverberg Communications, a public policy, media and crisis communications response firm.
Jay Silverberg spent 18 years with Gannett Co., including the Marin Independent Journal, where he was executive editor, and served as an executive at Xenophon Strategies and Kamer-Singer & Associates. Janet Silverberg has worked as a reporter, as well as in public relations, advertising and in collegiate teaching in Oklahoma and New York.
The Leadership Institute for Ecology and the Economy welcomes three new members to its board of directors: former Sebastopol City Council member Larry Robinson, Santa Rosa community leader Marie I. Gil, and political consultant Nick Caston. The Santa Rosa organization provides educational programs for leaders in the public and private sectors to improve awareness of policies that lead to sustainability.
