Steve Bolman to be permanent Petaluma City Schools Superintendent.

Bolman replaced Greta Viguie, who retired last June.

He is a Crescent City native and a graduate of Chico State University with a degree in business administration.

He came to the Petaluma City Schools in 1992 after working for the Del Norte County Unified School District, the Fullerton Elementary School District and the Centralia Elementary School District in Buena Park.

He was hired to work as the assistant superintendent for business for Petaluma City Schools. Nine years later, he became the deputy superintendent of business and administration and worked in that position until he replaced Viguie.
