Stupid SMART choice

<p>EDITOR: Am I the only one that finds it rather stupid that SMART only plans one station in Petaluma?</p><p>Having one station in the downtown area will only make a mess of things. There will be increased traffic and a lack of parking. I would imagine that people that live on the east side of Petaluma would find it difficult to drive every day to the west side and run the risk of not having any place to park while they take the train to work. Throw some gravel on dirt and they can park there seems to be the answer. After a rain it will become a bog. </p><p>Not very well thought out SMART people. I am tired of this endless spending, and I will be signing a petition to repeal the SMART Measure Q tax.</p><p>EDNA O'BRIEN, Petaluma</p>
