A motorcyclist suspected of racing between busy lanes of traffic on Highway 101 in Rohnert Park while drunk crashed Friday evening and was arrested..

Joseph Alvarado, 47, of Rohnert Park was traveling northbound at a high rate of speed around 6:30 p.m. when he lost control of his 1997 Harley Davidson and went tumbling across the highway.

He came to rest on the shoulder near the Rohnert Park Expressway overpass, said Sgt. Kahl Iedam. He was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, where he was later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, Iedam said.
