Mendocino County authorities say they expect additional arrests in a marijuana cultivation case that already has netted them seven suspects, $164,456 in suspected drug proceeds and 250 pounds of pot in varying stages of readiness.
The seizures were made during a raid at a rented Road K home Redwood Valley on Monday, during which members of the County of Mendocino Marijuana Eradication Team, or COMMET, found marijuana drying in an outdoor shed and processed and untrimmed pot in the house, the sheriff's office said.
Drug agents also found scales, packaging materials, sale records and a small amount of MDMA, or ecstasy.
Ukiah resident Karen Spencer, 39; Dakata Nesbitt, 19, and James Shook, 30, both of Kelseyville; and Santa Rosa residents Bogdan Cristea, 27, and Jordan Williams, 21, all were arrested for suspected cultivation and possession of marijuana for sale, the Mendocino County Sheriffs' Office said.
They were being held at the Mendocino County Jail, with bail of $25,000. Spencer also had revoked probation.
Authorities planned to petition the District Attorney's Office for charges against Megan Champion, 27, who was renting the Redwood Valley residence, and Ukiah resident Mia Miller, 47, as well, the sheriff's office said.
