The Mendocino Wine Co. has appointed Gary Glass as president, replacing Paul Dolan, who was ousted from the company in January.

Glass will join the Ukiah company on May 28 and report to Thomas Thornhill III, the company’s chief executive officer.

Glass has worked in the wine industry for more than two decades, serving in executive positions at Seagram Chateau & Estates, Trinchero Family Estates, Constellation Brands and Kendall-Jackson. Most recently, he served as vice president for brand development and strategic initiatives at Francis Ford Coppola Presents.

“The Thornhill family, the winemaking team and all the staff here at Mendocino Wine Company have made the commitment to sustainably produce Mendocino County wines of the very highest quality,” Glass said in a statement. “I share this commitment and look forward to shepherding Parducci, Paul Dolan Vineyards and the other Mendocino Wine Company brands into a new era of growth and prosperity.”
