Two ambulances took crash victims to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital Sunday morning from a collision east of town.
A sedan going 50 mph crashed into a pickup at 10:35 a.m. on Highway 12 near Queen Anne Drive, Santa Rosa Fire Capt. Don Ricci said.
The pickup's male driver was making a left-hand turn from Queen Anne Drive onto westbound Highway 12, Ricci said. The eastbound sedan's female driver crashed into the pickup's driver-side door.
"She ran right into the side of him, no skid marks, nothing," Ricci said.
The man suffered significant injuries, including a possible broken pelvis, Ricci said. The woman also suffered apparently serious injuries and was placed in a spinal restraint.
Their identities weren't available late Sunday.
