A Rodeo man who’d been fishing off of a Point Reyes National Seashore beach was identified Monday as the man whose body was found in the water Saturday evening.

Rim K. Lee, 72, had been at McClures Beach in the Marin County federal park and a family member called for help at 2:35 p.m.

He may have been swept into the water by a wave or may have slipped on rocks and fell, a park spokesman said. His body was retrieved more than three hours later.

An autopsy was scheduled for early this week.
