A motorcycle rider suffered significant injuries Sunday after crashing in the South Cow Mountain Recreation Area, CHP officials said.
A caller reporting the crash at 12:34 p.m. Sunday said the man might have broken a leg and his back, according to the CHP.
However the location was inexact in the 23,000-acre park. More than 120 vehicle trails traverse the park, which straddles Mendocino and Lake counties.
Rescuers began searching the area off Cow Mountain Access Road east of Ukiah for a silver Toyota Tacoma parked near a route the rider took.
The man was found by 2:20 p.m.
He was flown to a hospital. The man's condition and additional details were unavailable Sunday.
