Police: Car in Alexander Valley hit-and-run cyclist crash found

<p>The car being driven in the hit-and-run collision June 29 that seriously injured professional cyclist Michael Torckler was found Monday in Rohnert Park.</p><p>The 1996 Honda Accord driven by Arthur Yu, 36, of Rohnert Park, was found at the intersection of Hudis Street and Hillview Way after a citizen called Rohnert Park Police and reported the car had been there for about three weeks.</p><p>Yu, who is accused of stealing the car from his father, also faces charges of felony hit-and-run and reckless driving. The four felonies could put him in prison for nearly a decade. </p><p>Yu also was charged with a misdemeanor count of driving on a suspended license and was being investigated for a possible fifth charge of drunken driving. </p><p>Torckler, a native of New Zealand who had been training in Santa Rosa for about two weeks prior to the collision, suffered about 15 facial fractures, a fractured left arm and right hand. He was released from the acute rehabilitation center at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital July 11.</p>
