Sonoma County authorities searched Thursday for two inmates who escaped Wednesday night from the minimum security facility near the county airport.
The two men got free around 9:30 p.m. after clearing fencing around the North County Detention Facility on Ordinance Road, off Airport Boulevard, the Sheriff's Office said. Both were serving sentences for drug and alcohol violations, officials said.
A third man was apprehended during the escape. Those still being sought were identified as Serefino Uriel Gonzalez-Reyes, 42, and Rene Solorio Leon, 22, both of Santa Rosa.
They were last seen wearing standard jail-issue blue denim button-down shirts and blue jeans with jail markings.
Gonzalez-Reyes was described as 5-foot-8 and weighing about 200 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair, goatee and mustache. Leon was described as 5-foot-5 and about 200 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair and a mustache.
Anyone who sees either man or who has information about their location should call the Sonoma County sheriff's dispatch center at 565-2121.
