Sonoma County authorities were searching Thursday morning for two fugitive inmates who escaped Wednesday night from the minimum security facility near the county airport.

The two men got free around 9:30 p.m. after clearing fencing around the North County Detention Facility on Ordinance Road, off Airport Boulevard, the sheriff's office said.

Both were serving sentences for drug and alcohol violations, officials said.

A third man was apprehended during the escape, authorities said.

Those still being sought were identified as Serefino Uriel Gonzalez-Reyes, 42, and Rene Solorio Leon, 22, both of Santa Rosa.

Both were last seen wearing standard jail issue blue denim-style button-down shirts and blue jeans with jail marking.

Gonzalez-Reyes was described as standing 5-foot-8 and weighing about 200 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair a goatee and mustache.

Leon was described as 5-foot-5 and about 200 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair and a mustache.

Authorities said anyone who escapes from jail should be considered dangerous.

Anyone who sees either of the two men or who has information about their location should call the Sonoma County Sheriff's Dispatch center at (707) 565-2121.
