J. Roy Martinez has been named interim executive director of the Sonoma Mountain Business Cluster, replacing Michael Newell. Previously, he served as interim chief financial officer and vice president of finance at WineDirect. Martinez also serves as 2011-2012 executive chair of the North Bay Angels.

Stellar Energy, a large-scale solar energy integrator in Rohnert Park, has added two people to its operations team.

Michael Mittleman has been named senior vice president of operations. Previously, he served as chief operating officer of SPG Solar and president of Construction Data Systems.

Wayne Williford has been named operations and maintenance manager. Previously, he served as service and warranty manager at SPG Solar.

Rebecca Richardson has been promoted to development director at Bergin University of Canine Studies, which offers instruction in human and canine studies to postsecondary students. The university is expanding and has relocated to a larger campus in Rohnert Park.

Linda Challoner has been named director of perioperative services at Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa Medical Center. A registered nurse, Challoner has worked with Kaiser for nearly 20 years, serving as FMS service Director, assistant medical group administrator, and Marin-Sonoma Area strategy leader.

Rose Barboza, a Santa Rosa wedding minister who has performed marriage ceremonies since 1997, has launched her own wedding officiant business. Previously, she officiated at weddings at Mark West Lodge & Gardens. For information about her new firm, visit www.weddingsbyrosebarboza.com

Daniel L. Fletcher has joined Smith Dollar PC as systems administrator at the Santa Rosa law firm. He has been in the IT industry for more than 30 years, spending the last 14 years serving the legal community.

Debbie McCormick, owner of Sunnyside Cottage Gifts & Toys, has opened a second shop in Santa Rosa inside Cast Away Yarn Shop, located at 111 4th St. in Railroad Square.
