A Windsor woman killed in a Highway 101 crash Sunday has been identified Monday morning as Sheryl Marie Greenlee, 53.

Greenlee had been driving on the Fulton Road exit ramp at about 8:40 a.m. when she lost control of her vehicle and the Ford Mustang left the roadway.

The car slammed sideways into a redwood tree and then stopped between two other trees.

Greenlee died from the impact, police said.

The CHP reported she may have been going too fast, causing her to lose control. She also wasn't wearing a seat belt.
