Car into power pole forces partial closure of Silverado Trail

<p>A driver smashed into a power pole off of Silverado Trail in Napa County early Tuesday, knocking the pole and power lines into a lane and forcing the closure of the major route, reported the CHP.</p><p>An ambulance was called to the crash at Silverado Trail and Pope Street, but injury details weren't initially available. </p><p>A 911 call at 5:23 a.m. reported that a Toyota Camry had knocked down the pole, which was partially blocking a lane.</p><p>Silverado Trail runs along the east side of the Napa Valley. It was expected to be closed for hours between Zinfandel Lane and Pope Street, while PG&E crews replace the pole and repair the lines.</p>
