Police: anticipate flooding in north end of Petaluma

The Petaluma Police issued an alert Saturday night telling Petaluma residents to anticipate flooding on Sunday in the north reach of the Petaluma River.
The Petaluma Community Center (320 N. McDowell Blvd) is open as a refuge if you are anticipating the need to evacuate. There is no flooding occurring in the Petaluma areas as of 7 a.m. Sunday, but monitoring is ongoing.
Residents are urged to call 911 if you need assistance.
