Head-on crash leads to Petaluma teen's marijuana arrest

A 17-year-old Petaluma driver, suspected of being high on marijuana, crashed head-on into another car on Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma police said Monday.
The girl was driving with a passenger at 6:40 p.m. Saturday near East Washington Street when the crash occurred, Lt. Tim Lyons said.
The girl was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of marijuana.
She and her passenger suffered minor injuries and were taken to Petaluma Valley Hospital. People in the other car weren't injured.
