Clearlake Oaks man accidentally shoots self in head

<p>A Clearlake Oaks man was in critical condition Monday after he apparently shot himself in the head while showing a gun to friends.</p><p>Clearlake Police Sgt. Martin Snyder on Monday reported that Jake Crosby, 21, was at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in intensive care.</p><p>Police were called to an apartment on Old Highway 53 at 7:08 p.m. Saturday for a person who'd been shot, Snyder said.</p><p>The investigation and statements from witnesses indicated Crosby was showing the gun when it went off, Snyder said.</p>
