SV takes one of three in Anderson Valley Tournament

<p>The St. Vincent boys basketball team tipped off its season by winning one of three games in Anderson Valley's Redwood Classic Tournament in Boonville. </p><p>St. Vincent stumbled in its opening game, losing to Pinewood, 62-38. Pierson scored 12 points to lead the Mustangs. </p><p>St. Vincent bounced back for its first win, defeating host Anderson Valley, 47-31, behind 21 points from Pierson. </p><p>Tulelake downed the Mustangs, 42-31, in their final game. St. Vincent led, 23-22, at the half, but scored only eight points in the second half. </p><p>St. Vincent continues on the tournament-trail this weekend, playing in the Cloverdale Tournament Thursday through Saturday.</p>
