Fuel truck, pickup collide on Old Redwood Highway south of Cotati

A fuel truck and a pickup crashed Wednesday in Cotati, closing Old Redwood Highway at East Railroad Avenue, CHP officials said.

No one was injured, although the pickup landed on its side, Officer Jon Sloat said. The truck was not leaking fuel, he said.

The trucks crashed at a fairly low speed at about 12:30 p.m. in the intersection, Sloat said.

Emergency crews cleared the intersection and the road was reopened at 1:40 p.m.
