Foul play has been ruled out as the cause of death of a 66-year-old Santa Rosa woman found submerged in a pond Wednesday morning.

Stefanie Triliegi was discovered fully clothed at about 9:30 a.m. in landscape pond at the Woodlake condominium complex on Yulupa Avenue. She lived in a nearby apartment complex and it was unclear what, if any, connection she had with residential area where she was found.

“It either appears accidental or suicide,” said Sgt. Eric Goldschlag.

An autopsy was conducted Friday. Results from the toxicology exam could take weeks, according to Goldschlag.
