A Sebastopol driver who crashed into a pole late Sunday night and then left the crash was suspected of being drunk, reported Santa Rosa police.

The 11 p.m. crash occurred on South Wright Road at Sebastopol Road as Ryon Holguin’s 1999 GMC Sierra pickup wrapped around the pole and then caught fire.

A neighbor called 911 to report the crash, saying the driver had gotten out of the truck and left, police said.

An officer found Holguin, 21, nearby near Chico and Merced avenues.

He was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving, treated for a minor injury and released to appear in court.
