A man killed Friday night in a collision on Highway 20 was Covelo resident Robert Jeffrey Tymn.
The Mendocino County Sheriff's Office released the man's name Tuesday morning.
Tymn, 34, died Friday night. He'd been riding with a suspected drunken driver who reportedly was driving too fast when she lost control of her car on the rural highway and crashed into another vehicle.
Ana Fierro, 21, of Willits was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and vehicular manslaughter.
Fierro had been headed east at about 9 p.m. when her 1990 Buick sedan crossed into the opposing lane. She hit a westbound 2005 Toyota Tundra carrying four people.
One person in the Tundra was injured. Fierro also reportedly was injured.
The CHP initially said her speed and intoxication were factors in the crash.
