An incredible gift
EDITOR: It has been 40 years since my brother, Charles P. Torliatt Jr. was killed in Vietnam. His name was on the plaque stolen from Walnut Park in Petaluma. I was sorry to hear someone had stolen it, but more important, I am so touched by all the donors who wish to replace it. What an incredible gift to see how important it is to replace the plaque and continue to honor those men. To everyone who was moved to donate money to replace it, I am eternally grateful.
