Man steals lottery tickets

<p>Petaluma police are searching for a man who stole three rolls of lottery scratcher tickets from a 7-Eleven Jan. 11, and then returned later to cash three of the stolen tickets.</p><p>According to police, a black man in his 40s entered the 7-Eleven on D Street at about 10:15 a.m. He stole the tickets and exited the store. Later that morning, the same man returned to the same 7-Eleven with three of the winning stolen tickets and cashed them out.</p><p>Store employees contacted the state lottery office and the Petaluma police, who believe the suspect lives in Emeryville. </p><p>Officers said the investigation is ongoing.</p>
