John Dorich

<p>Longtime Sonoma County resident, John Dorich passed away in Santa Rosa on Jan. 15, 2013 at the age of 80. </p><p>He was a longtime resident of Petaluma and in recent years lived in Santa Rosa.</p><p>Mr. Dorich worked in the planning department for the City of San Rafael for more than 35 years. </p><p>He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Dorich, and was the step-father of Helana Fitzgerald of Petaluma and grandfather of John C. McDill.</p><p>A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma.</p>
