Gauchos rally too late

<p>The Casa Grande High School boys basketball team again rallied too late, losing at home to Maria Carrillo, 51-42, Wednesday night.</p><p>Maria Carrillo built a 26-16 halftime lead against the cold-shooting Gauchos and extended its advantage to 43-28 at the end of three periods, before Casa Grande rallied to get close at the end.</p><p>Cetrick Yeanay hit five 3-point shots and scored 19 points for the Gauchos. Drew Busse added 10. John Aitchison led Maria Carrillo with 16 points. </p><p>Casa Grande, with the loss, drops to 11-9 overall and 3-5 in North Bay League play going into a game Friday against league-leading Cardinal Newman in Santa Rosa. Maria Carrillo is 6-11 overall and 3-4 in league.</p>
