Trojans play Tigers touch

The Petaluma High School boys basketball team shocked Analy in the first half Wednesday night before the Sonoma County League-leading Tigers rallied in the final quarter for a 47-37 win.
The tenacious Trojans held the high-scoring Tigers to 18 points in the first half of the game at Analy, building a 21-18 halftime lead. The teams continued even through the third period, reaching the fourth quarter tied at 29-29 before Analy took charge with an 18-point final period.
Jaymes Potts led the Trojans with 11 points with Noah Forrey adding nine. Geddy Dukes paced Analy with 14 points, with Nohannad Haleweh chipping in 11.
Petaluma is now 3-16 overall and 2-5 in SCL play going into a home game against Piner Friday night. The win was Analy’s seventh without a loss in league play. Overall the Tigers are 13-7.
