Fire Calls

The Petaluma Fire Department received 27 medical and 65 fire or other emergency calls from Jan. 28 through Feb. 3. Here are some of the incidents:

Tuesday, Jan. 29

10:21 a.m. — Units headed to Highway 37 at Lakeville Highway for a three-vehicle accident. All drivers and passengers were found outside their vehicles and one patient was taken to Petaluma Valley Hospital.

Wednesday, Jan. 30

4:21 p.m. — Firefighters were called to North McDowell Boulevard for a two-car accident with one injured, elderly female. The female was found laying on the rear seat with a complaint of neck pain. She was taken to the hospital.

5:43 p.m. — Units responded to a single vehicle roller on Highway 101 about a half mile south of Pepper Road. The occupant of the vehicle was alert and removed from the car with little effort.

Saturday, Feb. 2

1:56 p.m. — Firefighters were called to Petaluma Boulevard South at Crystal Lane for a solo motorcycle accident. A motorcyclist was down in the roundabout and was taken to the hospital.
