Residents interested in Petaluma's designs for the area around the planned SMART rail station downtown can review and discuss the final draft of the Station Area Master Plan tonight.
The presentation by the Station Area Planning Citizens Advisory Committee will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Petaluma Community Center craft room 1, 320 N. McDowell Blvd.
After months of planning and community input, the final draft will be presented to the committee and additional comments will be received. No formal action will be taken.
The plan is tentatively scheduled to be presented before the Planning Commission on March 26 and to the City Council in April or May.
The Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit train is scheduled to begin running in 2016.
