Rail crossing work will close Petaluma street

<p>Lakeville Street in Petaluma will be closed at the railroad crossing near Petaluma Boulevard North on Sunday and Monday.</p><p>Crews will be working to repair the grade crossing on Lakeville Street between Petaluma Boulevard North and Madison Street.</p><p>Vehicles and commercial trucks will be detoured around the construction site. Drivers are advised to allow extra time and make plans in advance to avoid the area.</p><p>Businesses will remain open during construction on both sides of the closure. </p><p>For more information, contact the city's Public Works department at 778-4546.</p><p>— Lori A.
