Two crab fishermen were rescued Friday after their boat began taking on water near Bodega Bay, the Coast Guard said.
The Coast Guard received a distress call from the skipper of the 30-foot Yardbird at about 3:30 p.m., Boatswain Mate Third Class Matthew Foussadier said. He said a crew from the Bodega Bay Coast Guard station was on the scene within minutes, just in time to pluck the fishermen from the water as the boat capsized.
A Coast Guard spokeswoman would not identify the men, who declined medical treatment after they were taken to shore.
