The Petaluma Police Department is recruiting kids in third through sixth grades for the Junior Officer Police Camp to be held during spring break.
The four-day camp, March 18 through 21, runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
It is billed as an opportunity for Petaluma youngsters to learn more about police work, with an emphasis on principles of leadership, teamwork and approaching life with a winning attitude.
Camp participants will see police demonstrations and participate in hands-on learning.
