Possible gang assault in Santa Rosa injures one

A possible gang-related assault in Santa Rosa Saturday night left a person hospitalized with serious injuries, Santa Rosa police reported.
The victim was found near Link Lane and West Ninth Street by officers who were called to the area at 7:05 p.m., Sgt. Eric Goldschlag reported.
The victim was hospitalized for several blunt trauma injuries, Goldschlag said.
Officers found what might have been a weapon but no suspects. The department's gang team is investigating.
