Santa Rosa council to review survey on city safety, police work

The Santa Rosa City Council on Tuesday will review the findings of a survey of how residents feel about their safety and the work of the police department.

PD FileChief Tom Schwedhelm will present the council with the survey results, which showed 88 percent of residents feel safe in the city most or all of the time.
It also showed that 18 percent said they felt less safe or much less safe than they did a year ago, while 10 percent said they felt safer or much safer.
