3 killed in Northern California head-on crash

JAMESTOWN — Three people were killed in a head-on collision in Northern California near Jamestown.
The Modesto Bee reports (http://bit.ly/XSFmSs ) that the wreck occurred at 3:15 p.m. Saturday on Highway 120.
The accident occurred when the car driven by a 59-year-old man from Manteca drifted into the oncoming lane and hit a vehicle driven by a 51-year-old man from Roseville.
The California Highway Patrol closed the highway in both directions for more than three hours.
The victims' identities have not been released pending notification of next-of-kin.
The crash capped a deadly week on Modesto area roadways that saw nine people die in road accidents.
