Jackson Family Wines has bought the Yverdon Vineyard and Winery, a 77-acre property in the Spring Mountain District AVA in Napa Valley.
The property, situated at the peak of the Mayacamas Mountain Range, includes 25 acres of vineyards and reaches elevations of 2,100 feet, the company said in a statement.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Jackson Family Wines bought the property from Agnes and Margaret Wurtele, who own the winery Terra Valentine. The deal does not include the Terra Valentine brand or the Wurtele vineyard.
“We are delighted to now own one of the most distinguished mountain vineyard properties in Napa Valley,” said Barbara Banke, chairman of Jackson Family Wines, in a statement. The property will become the home of the company's Lokoya wines.
