Lake County Sheriff’s deputies on Wednesday arrested a Kelseyville man on suspicion of growing marijuana inside his residence.
Deputies say they found 340 marijuana plants, four pounds of processed pot, $7,000 in cash, ammunition and throwing stars in the 3-bedroom house of James Celozzi, 42.
Celozzi, who was on felony probation out of Los Angeles for cultivating marijuana, failed to report to his probation officer that he lived in Lake County, deputies said. He told officers that he would drive to Los Angeles each month to check in with his probation officer, according to deputies.
He admitted growing marijuana in two of the bedrooms, a bathroom and two closets, deputies said.
Celozzi was arrested for the cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, being a convicted felon in possession of ammunition and possession of throwing stars. He was booked at the Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility.
