Bear Republic Brewing Co. has switched its distributors that serve supermarkets and pubs from San Francisco to Monterey.|

Bear Republic Brewing Co. has switched its distributors that serve supermarkets and pubs from San Francisco to Monterey.

The Cloverdale company will no longer serve those accounts with Chrissa Imports, Richard R. Norgrove, president and CEO of Bear Republic, announced in a blog post. Three companies will now handle the territory: Matagrano, Inc. in San Mateo County; DBI Beverage in Santa Clara County; and Couch Distribution in Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Benito counties.

Bear Republic is the 36th largest craft brewer in the United States and is served in more than 20 states.
